At 8:08 am my wife Celestine had an extremely low blood sugar. I had an emergency glycogen injection to raise the blood sugar.Celestine was not responding so I called an for EMS Squad to come to our home to help her.they did and while they were here I ended up having a seizure.
by 8:30 all was well for the both of us.The ems team wanted too have her blood sugar at a certain level before they would leave. They also wanted to transport both of us to the hospital and we both refused due to the fact all they would have done is "monitor" us and than sent us home after doing little or nothing to us. costing us our $100.00 co-pay per person.

Sorry to hear you've had a bad day; but think maybe you both should have gone to the hospital. It's got to be difficult trying to take care of each other when you each have problems.
Fellow Ohioan, stopping in to say hi
Sandy
Sandy, the reason we did not was all they would have done would have put us into beds"watched" us for a while and send us home, all that for $200.00 did not seem worth while to us.especially since that can not do any thing more that what they are doing for me.Celestine was doing fine so they had us sign off on their electronic "paperwork" and the EMS crew was off to the next call.
