Great song...I loved Mike and the Mechanics. I often listen to your player for their songs. Not many remember them. I used to blast my casette out of my car stereo!! LOL
Clueless,this song is really special to me.Father's day 1984 was the last father's day form my Dad and I.I am so greatful that I wrote him a six page letter for that day.I poured out my heart to him,about stuff that I just could not talk to him about. we got to have a great bonding that day.I am so glad that I did.when he passed away we found that he saved the letter for himself to read on different times.He treasured that letter.I put the letter in his jacket pocket when we laid him to rest.
I don't know how many times I have listened to this song but I truly know it's meaning now and I am thankful that I still have my dad and that I spend time with him. I know he won't be here much longer but until the good Lord takes him home, I will let him know that I love him and appreciate all that he has done in my life. Thanks for posting this video!

Lee,I'm glad that you stopped by and enjoyed this song.By the time this had come out I had already lost my Dad.I am Greatful for the time i had with him especially Father's Day 1984 that was our last Father's day.So due enjoy the time you have with your Dad,I really miss mine.
