Thanks for the flashbacks with the Ventures ... Book 'em Danno!
Incense and Peppermints - just love that one! And the two Ventures tunes - love those, as well.
This is a great Set! Really enjoyed it.
Jamie,That's what I had in my mind as well.
Julia Smith,I'm glad you liked these that's what popped into my head this week.
Travis,I'm glad you enjoyed my set.I really enjoyed your set as well.
I loved this Mike!!! The Iron Butterfly and Strawberry Alarm Clock were a nice flashback. I think I was born in the wrong decade...I used to listen to those two songs with all the lights out laying on my bed watching the lights on the amplifier...If I were born in the proper decade it would be a lava lamp.
I watched Hawaii 5-0 every week.
Not to step on your toes, but Wipe Out was by the Surfaris, this being their only hit.
Also a bit of trivia. Despite In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida was widely played it only reached number 30 on the Billboard charts. But, then they didn't count airplay.
Thanks for the set.
I forgot to mention that my husband plays the the opening for Wipe Out. I'm not sure, but that may have been a ploy to hook me...well it worked and I am a better, happier person for it.
